(Q2 2018)
I directed a project focused on optimizing operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for one of the Brazil’s largest beverage bottler operations. The project aimed to simplify a complex data ontology of over 1,000 KPIs used to measure nationwide operational performance. This simplification was critical for improving strategic decision-making and resource allocation.
I employed machine learning techniques, including factorial analysis and cluster classification, to reduce variable complexity and identify key causal indicators. This resulted in the development of a streamlined data ontology, presenting a concise set of KPIs that directly aligned with the strategic objectives of C-level executives responsible for the P&L.
The simplified KPI structure enabled executives to gain clearer, more actionable insights into operational performance. This facilitated improved decision-making and more efficient resource allocation, driving tangible improvements in operational performance across the organization.
