Company: Kaizen Gaming

Kaizen Gaming is a leading GameTech company operating globally under the brands Betano and Stoiximan. With a presence in 20 plus markets and over 2,500 employees, it has established itself as a key player in the online gaming and sports betting industry.

 

Kaizen leverages technology and data to deliver personalized, secure, and engaging experiences to millions of users. I took over as Director of Technology, Data and AI reporting to the CTO, in charge of  setting and executing the company’s big data strategy, and executing area’s OpEx and CapEx budget.

 

My responsibilities included: growing and managing a multicultural team, overseeing  the company's big data infrastructure, guiding the development of data products, implementing data governance programs and guaranteeing compliance to data regulatory frameworks. I was also responsible for stakeholder engagement, AI development, business reporting accuracy and data-based innovations development, mainly focused on CRM optimization and customer behavioural data.

 

Three senior department heads reported directly to me: Technology and Big Data Infrastructure; Business Intelligence and Analytics; and Data Products and AI. The projects listed in this portfolio were conceived and delivered during my tenure.

 

The department heads reported directly to me, executing the technical roadmap while I managed stakeholder expectations, coordinated resources, addressed risks and cleared blocks. In some of these projects I also guided technical development in data science and artificial intelligence, which is my area of expertise.

 

Pushing for excellence I managed to bridge business requirements and maintain alignment with broader tech strategies.

Nestlé's Brazilian operations have been a focal point for innovation and investment, with the company continuously allocating billions to bolster production, distribution, and digital transformation initiatives.
