This project assured the migration of all analytics data from the legacy Google Analytics platform to the new GA4 format within a strict six-month timeline. The execution was managed by the Head of Business Intelligence and Analytics, who reported directly to me. My responsibilities included setting clear objectives, ensuring proper resourcing, and aligning the technical deliverables with the strategic requirements defined by key stakeholders, primarily the Marketing and Global Commercial departments.


The transition to GA4 required comprehensive revisions of existing dashboards, redefining essential metrics, and updating analytical algorithms to maintain data accuracy and relevance. 


Close collaboration with stakeholders was essential to reassess the business value of each KPI and reporting asset, preserving continuity and ensuring the ongoing effectiveness of business decisions based on these analytics tools.


Successfully completing this migration protected critical data assets, such as dashboards, reports, and algorithms, ensuring uninterrupted insights for business users. The outcome strengthened the company's analytical capabilities which supported ongoing decision-making processes, and maintained the integrity and usability of data despite significant changes in underlying technology from Google.
