This project was another component of a leading CPG data transformation and consisted of the rapid development of critical data assets to support the successful introduction of a premium product line into the Brazilian retail market. This project centered on getting near real time data from stores, creating comprehensive dashboards that provided visibility into key performance indicators across all launch operations. These KPIs included coverage, shelf presence, pricing, availability, out-of-stock likelihood, total sales, and adherence to launch plans.
I designed and implemented a data gathering strategy that integrated diverse data sources, including second-party retailer data. I also established stringent data governance and validation processes to ensure data accuracy and reliability. Crucially, I ensured that the dashboards delivered compelling data storytelling, aligning insights with the operational needs of the launch. This enabled stakeholders to make informed, data-driven decisions in real time.
The project delivered exceptional results, with the corresponding data products developed within a record timeframe and setting a new standard for launch traceability. This significantly reduced reaction times, enhanced understanding of customer behavior, and provided insights into the performance of different retail channels.
