This project was an emergency initiative to rapidly digitize sales processes in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This project involved a cross-functional team of data engineers and scientists, working directly with the client's commercial leadership to transform their B2B operations. We aimed to shift from traditional sales models to a data-driven digital framework, focusing on enhanced customer interactions.


The project centered on analyzing client online journey data and offline performance to identify improvement areas. This analysis enabled the development of targeted customer interactions, including optimized outreach strategies, product recommendations, churn prevention, and cross-sell/upsell opportunities. We focused on reducing friction in sales and distribution, improving retailer services, and fostering client loyalty through innovative approaches. Iterative evaluation and refinement based on data insights ensured continuous optimization.


The project's outcome was an many times over increase in monthly digital sales volume, demonstrating the effectiveness of the digital transformation. This significant growth was achieved by streamlining client interactions, enhancing service delivery, and improving overall customer satisfaction and retention. The project showcased the value of data-driven strategies in rapidly adapting to market changes and achieving substantial business growth.
