Setting up the Data Practice for EMEA

I was tasked with establishing and expanding the data practice across the EMEA region, after the acquisition of a London-based digital transformation business . This involved building fully operational data product development teams in the UK and Portugal, culminating in a specialized team of over 40 data professionals. My responsibilities included talent acquisition, training, and mentoring, transforming data scientists into skilled data product experts, significantly enhancing the company's capacity to secure and execute significant client contracts.

Beyond team building, I developed the business proposition for data-driven digital transformation, that enabled the company to effectively serve clients in the FMCG, automotive, and healthcare sectors. This proposition integrated a solid scientific approach and agile digital transformation methodologies, later incorporating the intensive usage of AI, contributing to the company's market presence and thought leadership in data innovation. 

This successfully established not only a robust data practice but put it at the service of a cohesive business proposition, demonstrating my ability to build and lead high-performing teams and drive strategic data initiatives in a new market.
